Java

Hello,

I have Java 7 Update 45 on my computer.

When I install Serviio It asks to install Java 6. After Serviio's installation I have Java 7 Update 5 x64 listed in my programs next to the above mentioned Java installation. My malware and antivirus keep flagging update 5 as a security risk. But if I uninstall update 5 Serviio will not work.

Any thoughts on this? Updates? Suggestions?

Regards,

MJ

Oops, Windows 7 x64. Serviio 1.3.1 Pro.

uninstall all Java and install the latest Java 7 for 64 bits. You should be fine.

Thank you for the fix. Given I have a 64 bit OS I had to install both x32 and x64 Java otherwise I receive the following message when Serviio launches:

No JVM could be found on your system.
Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME
to point to an installed 64-bit JDK or JRE or dowload a JRE from
http://www.java.com.

With both versions of Java I am up to date and Serviio runs well. Thank you for your time.
