Bug: "Inlude hidden files"

Hello,

I'm using Serviio 1.3.1 on WIndows 7.
There is an option on serviio Library->Shared folders called "Include hidden files". By default this option is not checked.

On one of my shared folder, I've an hidden folder with some hidden files (correponding to temporary files), but this hidden folder is available (visible) on my TV when browsing this shared folder.

I've tried to check/uncked the "Include hiiden files" option, also I've trying to display/hide hidden files directory on the OS but in all cases my hidden folder/files are visible on my TV...

Can someone confirm that this is a bug here somewhere? or do I do it wrong?

Thx for the information,
Vince

Is the folder hidden, but the files inside are not? Or are they also hidden?

Files and folders are hidden on windows but both are visible on TV...

Is it possible that the folder has been initially visible, added to the library and then made hidden? In that case Serviio will not recognize the state has changed and will not remove it from the library.

This works for me:

- create a hidden folder (outside of your current shared folders)
- put some files there
- share the folder

Yes you are right!

I have remove my share folder from the library, then I've added it again and the hidden folder is not displayed!

So the problem is only if you hide a folder from an already shared folder...

Ok thx for your time...
