Hi,
We use Serviio on my Windows 7 PC to stream MP4 videos to my xbox360.

My question is how can I can the thumbnail generated by the xbox when viewing the file list ? I have a My Little Pony video for my 5yo daughter and the thumbnail generated is nothing to do with the cartoon, but instead of an "adult" nature !!! Where is this picture coming from and how can I change it !!??

The thumbnail is generated from online metadata - from thetvdb.com (for TV series) or themoviedb.com (movies). Serviio finds the metadata it needs based on the file name of the movie file: see http://www.serviio.org/component/conten ... extraction for information.

In this case you likely simply need to change the name of the file to match the movie name in themoviedb.com - something along the lines of "My Little Pony The Movie (1986).abc" should do it (if its the original movie) - keep the file extension, abc, as what it is now. If its one of the other movies, see http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=my+little+pony and match the name of your movie. If you are still having trouble, come back with the filename and movie name (which My Little Pony video it is) of your daughters video and we should be able to find the appropriate match.
