I have A Vizio Co-star… I'm also using a Mac.. I want to know how I can Mirror my Mac Desktop Onto the Co-star using Serviio. I want to be able to surf and watch Media from the internet from my Mac to The Vizio Co-star. Is it even possible to do this with Serviio? or even at all? I also found a Profile xml. That someone made for the Co-star to work with Serviio, however, after Hour's I can't figure out how to do it, because the person explain's how to do it with a PC. After reading Seriio instruction's for hour's on how to make your own device profiles, I just don't understand how to do it with a mac… Serviio doesn't really explain in detail how to use their software with a mac… So I have the 14 day trial counting down and I can't figure out how to use this software…. All I know is it should work for what i wan't it to do… Can someone Please help me…????.I haven't owned the co-star a year and already they won't update the flash or whatever else it need's to keep up with online content. I can't watch Justin TV no more because of the update problem's.. There's more sites too.. Help……..

Firstly, please do not post multiple times for the same issue. I have deleted your other two posts related to this subject.

While streaming desktops can be done via Serviio it is not its prime function. That functionality has been discovered and documented by users such as yourself - the documentation that exists for windows and Linux was contributed by users. If you do work out how to do it with a Mac then you may also wish to contribute that to the wiki. Sorry I am not a mac user so cannot assist.

Note that many online sources, such as Justin.tv can be supported by Serviio without streaming your desktop. It does this via Serviio's online streaming and via plugins. See http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=42 and http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=servio_plugins for an overview and see viewtopic.php?f=20&t=9216 for discussion on the Justin.tv plugin.
