High network usage in IDLE mode

Hi,

I discover high network usage in IDLE (DNLA client not active - TV shows regular tv signal) mode.

Environment:
1) Serviio 1.4.0 on Windows 7 x64
2) LG 47LM620T-ZE (latests firmware 04.51.07)

Steps to reproduce:
1) Start Serviio
2) Just switch on TV

[ImageExtractStrategy], [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread], [LibraryManager], [LibraryUpdatesCheckerThread] and [MediaItemDAO_Impl] are cuted from serviio.log.

I also captured network dump (you can open it by wireshark) with filter "port 8895 || port 1900".

I see strange behavior in dump file: frequently repeating of same messages between TV and Serviio. Just open (by wireshark http://www.wireshark.org) dump file and you will see it.

192.168.0.10 - PC with Serviio
192.168.0.11 - TV

I don't see anything weird. There is some browsing activity (which includes downloading the thumbnails). Is that what you meant?

Thanks for answer.

Problem is that this happens incessantly (without any delay and break). TV and Serviio can communicate in same manner long time (several hours). Is it TV problem ?

you can compare with the serviio.log, but it should sent the Browse requests only when you're actually browsing the contents on the TV
