Hi,
I have a Denon DBT-1713UD, when i use Generic DLNA profile, this profile can not display subtitles. Subtitles are in srt format movie in avi, names, of course, the same.
Other functions operate in this profile very well.
Serviio version 1.4.
Please help solve the problem.

Beczer,
Hi. Were you able to find a solution for this? I'm in the same boat with my Denon DBT1713UD not showing substitles even thought the .srt file is in the same directory and with the same name as the mkv video file.
Thanks

You will have to enable Burned in subtitles in the console.

Yes, when you turn on subtitles in console video is transcoded and played through Denon DBT. However, it did not quite satisfy me because it is impossible then accelerated playback with preview, it works just playing and stop.
I must add that when playing from a USB drive subtitles are properly recognized and played well with the accelerated playback. I wonder why the player does not see the same subtitle through DLNA.
Is it possible to create or edit a device profile to enable playback of subtitles, without transcoding, or to allow fast forward/rewind?
Regards

No subtitles available on Roku and WDTV. However MediaBrowser works fine. I can check 360 tomorrow, but I have feeling no subtitles as well. I'll edit post/upload log once I have one to send. I also did confirm it didn't matter if it was on default or 'chaneru'.
