How to differentiate 3d films from 2d films?

Is there any way to differentiate 3d films from 2d films, when both files are in the library and metadata extraction is used to give it a name?
The reason I ask this is because I have 2 TVs; one can play 3D films, the other cannot.

Use a different folder and naming conventions. I have a subfolder for all 3d content and file name with 3d in title.

I was aware of this, but unfortunately, this only then works in the folder view, on the DLNA client

I have been trying to figure this out also. What we might have to do is create a custom .nfo for each 3D movie and pull the movie information from there.

Media Browser uses square brackets in the file name to look for specials. So for 3d films you'd append [3d] to the filename. This then doesn't get confused with films with 3d in their title.

See viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15754.
I have created an issue here: https://bitbucket.org/xnejp03/serviio/i ... -3d-movies. In addition, DukeUK has a workaround that may assist in the interim.
