I'm looking to run a small 'portal' like area for my familys network where the user logs in first before being able to access the Media Browser. However I have found that if a user bookmarks the URL they can go straight to it.

Is there any work around to this which redirects them to a login page before? I'm guessing it requires session cookies etc.

Am open to any solution whether its scripting or firewall rules / iptables / reverse proxy.


FYI: Its an ubuntu server
