Cannot set Path to NAS on iMac

Hi all, and thanks for helping.

I'm trying to set the Library on Serrviio on my

iMac

pointing to my

NAS

with the Videofiles, yet no matter if I write "//192.168.1.35/Openshare/Video" or " \\192.168.1.35/Openshare/Video" or even use the hostname of the NAS share: As soon as I save the data in the console, it changes the path to "/Applications/\\192.168.1.35/Openshare/Video" and nothing goes.

Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong and I couldn't find the answer (or even the same question, for that matter) in the forum.

Any hint appreciated.

are you doing it through the Add Path... button?

I am, Petr - is that wrong? How else would I do it, as in "local" I can't enter any paths.

Thanks, Petr - but my problem is not related to the NAS-Share not beeing mounted. Rather, the path I enter in the consoleis not accepted or just interpreted in a wrong way. I have "openshare" on my NAS at 192.168.1.35 and it's mounted and shown on my desktop, yet I don't succeed in entering the path in the console. It just always is re-configured as "Applications/XXXXX" as soon as I hit "Save".
