Folder art in Mediabrowser

I have problems with folders not showing folder arts of my choice in Mediabrowser.
I have tested several options as I try to visualize below.
This example shows 3 different folders: Movies, Kids and News.
In the Movies folder I have placed a picture, folder.jpg, that I want to show as the folder art.
In the Kids folder I have placed a picture named after the folder name (Kids.jpg)
And for News I have placed a picture, News.jpg, on the same level as the folder itself.
Should any of these options above work?
For now it seems a random picture in the folder is used for folder art

Root--------|
News.jpg |
|--- Movies
| folder.jpg
|
|--- Kids
| Kids.jpg
|
|--- News
|

... the above looks OK in edit mode only :-(
Imagine that the all the "|" are in a straight line

Filesystem folders don't have associated image per-se. They just show the image of one of the files in that folder.

Will this be possible in a future update? I think it would be a very handy function

Does Serviio recognize XBMC .tbn thumbnail files?

I'm not sure for future, it's quite a big update and not really needed at the moment.

.tbn files are recognized.

Thanks. Hope it will be possible in the future.
In the meantime, is it possible to have a "standard art" for unrecognized media?
