Anyone tried it with their Popcorn Hour? It still doesn't seem to work, you enter to play a video and after 5 sec PCH C200 starts loading and after 30 sec issues "Could not play"!

Problem pending since v0.6 in 2012 ?

State of the art, now, in 2014 with v1.4:
Serviio is offered as available UPnP AV server. Browsing through Serviio's library works perfectly. But, playing is the problem!

BTW, the same media files play well in PCH-C200 via USB-disk, internal disk and NFS server.
Thus, PCH-C200 and Serviio succeed to communicate the library folder tree structures,
but fail to coordinate streaming/playing selected media files from serviio library to the PCH-C200.

What is the problem? When will it get solved?

Same problem here with the Popcorn Hour A400. Streaming off livestream from Aceplayer not working anymore

Serviio's developer does not in general actively work to fix certain devices. The device support comes from the community of users. It just so happens that Sony and Samsung devices happen to have great support here because there are a number of owners with the technical skills to get stuff working, and the actual hardware at home for testing.

Unfortunately these Popcorn Hour devices seem mostly to be owned by people who just complain about the lack of support. Personally I have never seen or heard of them, except on here so would be very unlikely to own one.

I have the same problem with my PCH A200. I also have minidlna installed and A200 works fine with it.

According to viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3313 I did:
1) Created profile and assigned it to A200

2) Disabled metadata and thumbnails
