Serviio

Hi all. I am a newbie to this but would like a bit of help please with something weird!

I recently allowed Java to update to the latest version (Version 7 update 51) and then all my troubles started. Serviio would not start auto or manual so I went to the Serviio website and they recommended to uninstall all versions of Java and then click the link and reinstall Java which I did. Serviio still does not start so I have uninstalled the app and tried to reinstall but get a message "Serviio 1.4.1.2 win-setup.1395495516" file not found and have tried downloading and installing a couple of times but to no avail. So now I can't even re-install Serviio. I am using W7 Ultimate 64 bit system with 16gb RAM. Any advice from anyone how to get Serviio reinstalled would be gratefully appreciated.

The file is not downloaded completely, download the installer again.

Thanks for the info but I get this every time I download it and I've done it a dozen times and every time this happens so I delete the file and try again. I am downloading from the Serviio website so can't understand why this is happening.

Well, I finally got it sorted and boiled it down to a corrupt installer file so back tracked to the previous version which downloaded and installed perfectly! First I deleted the downloaded latest version installer file as it was like all the other downloaded installers corrupt and also removed Java! Then proceeded to reinstall the previous version which during the install detected no Java version, I clicked the link to download Java and hey presto Serviio is now re-installed again and working fine! So I think I will resist updating to the newest version unless something breaks it! Otherwise all working excellent again! Just thought you'd like to know how I fixed mine for anyone else with the same issues as I did have.
