outdated Java
Posted: Wed Apr 30, 2014 6:36 pmHaving just installed Serviio it requires Java to run however the required version is outdated and Java advise not to install it! Will Serviio update to use the latest secure version of Java?

Posted: Thu May 01, 2014 1:56 pmServiio doesn't install Java, you do. It just tells you it's minimum requirements. Go to java.com, download it and run it.

Posted: Thu May 01, 2014 8:08 pmI have Java 7 installed on my pc, when installing Serviio it tells me Java 6 must be installed for it to run and offers to install it.

Might be worth mentioning to zip, that he really should say requires version 6 minimum. I already had Java installed so never had the question. Apologies on that.
