Maybe I'm a complete Idiot?

I apologize in advance for this rudimentary question. I tried using Windows Media Player to Stream Via DLNA to my Sony SMPN100 Blue Ray Player for my music stored internally on my hard drive / Network.

Depending on the file format the Blue Ray Player can't transcode each song or sometimes it does sometime it doesn't automatically. It was suggested I get a Media Server to do this.

Downloaded updated & Installed Serviio without incident and checked the file boxes for music and added a few folders to my library to test.

NOW WHAT??????????????

I simply don't understand what to do next? as there is no way that I can see no matter what I read to now send the music using "Serviio" to my Sony Blue Ray Player unless as previously STATED I AM A COMPLETE IDIOT and this is not the purpose of Media Server.

Sorry again for this basic question but I've read - reread - every FAQ / googled this for hours and am ready to hang myself.

How do I send the music to the Player? Create Play Lists? Etc.. Am I MISSING A STEP

Thank you in advance.

Go to the Bluray media menu, you should see Serviio server there, and you can browse the content using your Bluray remote.
