Recommended Linux

Hi Guys,

I have installed it on Ubuntu 14.04 but having issues.

Just wondering what you guys would recommend as the best version of Linux to install on?

fedora. no problems at all, and ffmpeg already in repository.

yes. local and remote.
read wiki how to install on fedoras, and watch out on specialities of latest fedora, i mean about autorun as service

I am installing Serviio and get the following messages about packages.

gstreamer and similar are not needed for serviio as server

Ubuntu 14.04 ... all good, no issues.

Been using Ubuntu for few years now.
