Video freezing while playing on TV, Tablet, or STB

Hello, I'm using Serviio to stream different kind of videos from my PC to either my TV (a Panasonic Viera plasma, through Ethernet) or my Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" using CyanogenMod, through WiFi), and sometimes my set-top-box (Orange Livebox Play, through Ethernet).
I'm facing an issue with both the TV and the tablet, with all videos I tried.

The video playback is good, everything is perfect, but sometimes the video is freezing, you have a still picture on the screen and no sound. After a few seconds, there are several solutions, depending on the device on which I play the video :
- TV : sometimes it resumes the video ; sometimes it says the file is not readable ; usually if I do a pause/play on the remote control it resumes the video ; but sometimes I need to push the "return" button and start the video again (and usually it resumes the video at the point it froze).
- Tablet : usually it resumes the video after a few seconds, but it starts with a "fast forward" for one or two seconds prior to slow down to normal speed. Sometimes it exits to the media file browser with a message like "file not found". Pause/play has no effect.
- Set top box : sometimes it resumes the video after a few seconds, but it starts with a "fast forward" for one or two seconds prior to slow down to normal speed. Most of the time it exits to the media browser with a message like "file not found". Pause/play has no effect.

Is there a parameter I can set in Serviio to improve this ? Thanks

is it all video's or a selected few. If the latter, then post MediaInfo details for an offending file.

Check your PC, monitoring CPU and disk usage during playback. I am thinking something is periodically hogging the resources. Let us know what the CPU is doing, and whether it spikes at the time that the picture freezes (and if possible, what application is causing the spike). Also describe your PC (that Serviio is on - cpu, hard drive, memory, free space) and network.
