Hi,
it is the first time i don't find a way to watch a video with my LG tv 55la620s and serviio. I use Lg tv/player profile and transcoding is activate.
The video works if i plug directly an usb drive on my TV.
i saw it on my tv but i have an error message (file not supported) when i launch it.

Do other MP4 files play - if its only this one file try re-muxing it using the command:

    ffmpeg -i "F:\download\Films TV\missing.mp4" -c copy -map 0 "F:\download\Films TV\missing1.mp4"
and see if the new file works. Otherwise try:

  1. If any subtitle options are on, turn them off and try again
  2. Try the Generic DLNA Profile
  3. Try the Panasonic Viera G/GT/DT/UT/VT (2011/2012) profile
and let us know the outcome

Assuming you are using an unmodified LG Profile add this:
  Code:
<Transcoding>
   <Video targetContainer="mpegts" targetACodec="ac3">
      <Matches container="mp4" vCodec="h264" aCodec="aac" />
   </Video>
</Transcoding>
directly underneath the line that contains </Transcoding>-->. I have taken the relevant bit from the Panasonic Viera G/GT/DT/UT/VT (2011/2012) profile.

This will unfortunately re-mux all of your MP4 files, including those that are working well. If it only this one file not playing this would be an overkill - did you try remuxing manually it as per my earlier post?

Hi Denyall,
i try but is not working..like i say the video work if i but directly with an usb drive on the TV..

And what is the problem if this re-mux all my MP4 files, including those that are working well ?

Thanks a lot

Maybe a problem, maybe not. I cannot speak to the LG because I haven't got one, but with the Panasonic Viera and Sony Bravia TV's if you remux an MP4 (h264) file to an m2ts it may not honour aspect ratio information (movies with a > 16:9 aspect ratio may appear stretched - everyone is tall and thin).
and why is is working directly on tv and not with servioo ?
It's not uncommon. Some of it is the way streaming happens (unlike USB, the whole file is not available to the TV, only the bits that are being streamed at the time). You cannot use the fact that its supported via USB as an indicator that it will be supported by DLNA (half true - I've never seen any cases where its not supported by USB but is via DLNA. So you can use say that if it doesn't play on USB it wont via DLNA, but if it does play via USB you cannot infer anything - if that makes sense).
