Hi,
I am trying to allow friends to download remotely the media files of my serviio library.
Does anyone has any idea how to do it?

Setup an SSH server on your machine and let people download files using SCP. SCP is more secure than FTP.

Downloading != streaming. Serviio is for streaming.
