Starting with version 1.5, MediaBrowser uses the presentation settings on the console, so you can disable everything except music if you desire.

However, this disables everything except music for DLNA connected media players as well. There are not separate settings for MB and general use. My suggestion would be to have two Serviio installations, and dedicating one just to music. Of course, this means two computers as well. However, streaming music would require very little from the computer, so it could be an old cast off box that don't have much power. All you need is the storage space, and hard drives are (relatively) cheap. :D

I've made changes to the presentation settings, disabling everything except the "Folders" in Video. It works fine with DLNA browsers, but the Mediabrowser still shows all of the default folders to browse.

Do I have to do something after making the changes in the console to make them effective in Mediabrowser?

Basically, I only want to see "Videos", then "Folders" when I open Mediabrowser.

Do you have Serviio 1.5?
