Hi all,

After the update to new version 1.5, I experience some issues that i do not know how to deal with them.
Each time when i download a movie, servio is processing the file as unsupported :

2015-01-22 16:16:27,121 WARN [MetadataExtractionCoordinator] Skipping processing metadata for an unsupported file (D:\Downloads\Houdini.Part2.2014.EXTENDED.720p.BluRay.x264-TOPCAT\Sample\sample-houdini.part2.2014.extended.720p.bluray.x264-topcat.mkv). Message: Unknown video file type.

this happens because at the time it appears in the folder, the file it is not downloaded 100%, but serviio once it marks the file like this the only way in order to refresh is by using force refresh from console .
in the previous folder the functionality was ok ... there was no need for me to push manual refresh once the file was downloaded

Can u please assist me in this matter ... i use the PRO license

Yes, it's the cons of the new files detection system. Before it was basically making 'force refreshes' each 5 minutes, now Serviio only detects file changes. For torrent, the file is created in full file size (with zeros) and then filled in as the download progresses - thus the OS doesn't see any change to the file really.

So to get around it, you can either:
- use force refresh button
- download files into a different folder and move the files to the shared folder once they are fully downloaded
