Serviio library when repo is offline

I have a linux file server and linux serviio setup. Both use Ubuntu 14.04 server.
A share (CIFS) )on the file server is mounted on the serviio server.
I rebooted the file server and serviio started removing items from the library.
Is this supposed to happen? Is there anything I can do to stop it from doing this?

What version of Serviio are you using. Version 1.5 improved this dramatically.

im using 1.5.
I tested it again by rebooting the file server and it did the same

detailed log showing a server reboot.

so ive done some more testing and it appears to happen only if the fileserver is rebooted when the share is already mounted.
If both servers are rebooted and the serviio server comes on first, it can't mount the share and DOESNT start removing files from the database
