If I launch : serviio.sh
Mediabrowser does not work

I must launch : serviio-console.sh for that.
this is normal ?

Because I would like launch my mediabrowser without graphical interface (which need to console). With another computer for exemple (ssh)

It's ok with my local IP.

But not with my Network IP. If I launch Serviio Console : So it's ok with my network IP too.
I don't understand... uPnp error ?


EDIT : after 20min mediabrower run correctly on IP network without serviio-console... LOL strange. But i'm glad

Not sure what you mean by local IP and network IP. Unless you play in advanced settings, your PC will only have one IP address. Are you referring to your internal network address vs. your gateway's public Internet address?

If you are trying to access Serviio using MediaBrowser from outside your local network, your router must be configured correctly. Serviio can attempt to set it, but it's never worked for me and I have to manually set up port forwarding. I may be in left field here, but it's possible that your router is only accepting the port forwarding settings while the console is running. Doesn't make sense, since the router should remember its settings, but hey - whatever works.

Is your Internet IP address static, or does it change often? Most non-business connections are not static, so you need some sort of dynamic DNS service.

To sum up :
after launch serviio.sh I can use mediabrowser with my IP Local instantaneously. But for use mediabrwoser from outside, I must wait for 10/15 minutes.
Unless you know why. It's not really bad...

OK, it works fine on your internal network, but from outside your firewall there's a delay. Sounds like your public IP address is changing, and however you are getting that from the outside (some sort of dynamic DNS) isn't being updated quickly enough.

Without knowing how you are discovering your public IP address, I can't offer much more. Assuming you are using some sort of client on your home computer that reads the public IP and transmits the change to the dynamic service, you should be able to adjust how often it checks for changes. For example, if it's set to check every 15 minutes, change it to 5.
