Issues with Serviio pro

Im using Serviio pro on my Mac Mini OS X 10.10.2 and have some minor problems.
1) Automatic Library update: I have enabled this feature, but Serviio does not see new files automatically in the assigned folder. I have to press "update now" for the app to find the new files or disable "Automatic Library update" and enable it again.
2) Im not able to use the media browser on both iPhone and iPad (iOS 8.1.3). I can log in and browse my content, but when I click on the play button in the media window, nothing happens.
I dot not have the console running - I only open it sometimes to configure.

What does the Serviio logs say?
Open terminal and navigate to the installation directory -
run tail -f serviio.log
Then place a file (MKV, JPG, etc), into a directory you've shared and output the logs here.
From what I understand, the Flash based player won't work on iOS devices - so HTML5 functions are used. Reduce your variables -
Does running MediaBrowser on your Mac work (eg: play video as expected?)

Serviio 1.5.1 was just released today. It has some file polling fixes, and might resolve your issue.

I have installed Serviio 1.5.1 and will test out the automatic library update the next days.
About the Media Browser on iPhone and iPad - it still does not work. It works perfectly on my mac, if I run the media browser in Safari. The video starts and plays without any problems. But on my iPhone nothing happens when I press play.

On the iPhone are you running from a MediaBrowser home screen icon? Try from a URLs direct in the browser ie. start the browser first, enter the Mediabrowser URLs and see if that helps.

I maybe found out when the library update issue is present.
If I move a folder with a video file inside to the shared folder, Serviio does not find the new file. If I move only the video file to the shared folder, Serviio finds and adds the file.
So the problems is only there when moving a new folder with the video file inside. Is there a way to fix this?
