I have problem to see serviio server and my new router.
With my old router i had no problems with both my tvs, a 42" lg and via lan and a 26" samsung via wifi.

With the new router I have a lot of problems.
The lg tv via lan don't recognize serviio at all, the samsung see serviio when I restart the pc and for about 24 hour.

If I reconnect the old router it works correctly.
There are a rule to set on router to make it works?

Thanks

I'm reading through the manual now, so let's see what might be causing a problem. I'll refer to the page number of the manual so you can look it up.

Page 37: make sure Mode is set correctly for your devices. Most likely you need B/G/N Mixed, unless you are sure you only have N devices.
AP Isolation: make sure this is disabled
Page 41: you should only have one DHCP server on your network. If you have assigned a static IP address to your other devices, make sure they are in the same range as the router. This router appears to default to the range 192.168.1.x. Make sure all your devices have an address that matches (the number should be the same on all of them except for the last octal, represented by the x above).
Page 43: make sure the time are date are correct. I've seen strange things happen when they aren't right. Who knows why?
Page 44: disable IPv6 while you are getting everything working.
Page 64: disable QoS while you're getting it right
Page 68: Wireless Filter should be disabled
Page 70: DMZ should be disabled
Page 72: Guest Wireless Network should be disabled
Page 73: UPnP: enable this just to be sure everything talks with each other

That should be enough for now... :D

All the settings were already correct.

Can you temporally run an Ethernet cable to the set, to see if it's the router itself or just the Wi-Fi?

There's always a chance the router has some sort of problem. From the sounds of it, everything is configured correctly and there shouldn't be any issue.

Also, ensure you have the latest firmware for the router. That router apparently had some issues with earlier firmware and in particular with multicasting (which is used to advertise and discover the server).

If you have the latest, then try changing your Multicasting and IGMP Snooping settings.

The lg is connected via lan and it don't works at all. The samsung via wi-fi works only sometimes.
The router has already the last firmware, and it's a spare modem, the one i bought is arrived dead. It comes from the d-link assistance.

Well, since everything works correctly with the old router, that pretty much pinpoints the problem with the new router. If you've checked the Multicasting and IGMP Snooping settings that DenyAll mentioned and still not working, then I don't think there's anything further than can be done here. I believe there's something wrong with the router that isn't setting related. Sorry, I can't think of anything else to check. :(

No changes also after 1.5.2 update.
But this evening I blocked the access to serviio from the lg tv via lan, and reenbled it, for now the lg works again. The Samsung via Wi-Fi still works.
I haven't changed nothing on the router.
