BSOD due to Serviio monitoring removable drive?

Hi,

I'm getting BSOD because I added a removable drive into Serviio Shared Folders after the system wake up from sleep. I'm on Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Please note that this occurs if the removable drive is not available when the system wake up.

To confirm, if I stopped Serviio service before putting the system to sleep, my system does not BSOD anymore after system wake up.

My temporary workaround now is to stop Serviio while the system is going to sleep and to start it again after system wake up through the Task Scheduler (on event)

Thanks

Yes, it works. No more BSOD. Any disadvantage of using it?

Thanks.

A bit more CPU load, depending on your library size and not so immediate file changes to the library. Basically similar to what 1.4 was doing

Ok, it doesn't caused the BSOD now, instead the Serviio service would be missing after my PC wake up from sleep mode. The Serviio service itself is still running, but no DLNA clients can see it. I need to manually restart the Serviio service to get it working again.

I'll try reinstalling it to see if it solve the problem.

It should eventually advertise itself again after coming from sleep, but there may be a delay. DenyAll might help.
