This update does NOTHING to fix the Library update problem on a windows (7.1) 64 Bit computer. The ONLY way i can get the library to update requires a Computer reboot!!!
Not even a simple Closing and re-opening the program will force an update!

version 1.4... worked fine...

The entire 1.5.xx update has screwed around with the library, including removing the previous option that allowed to select a single drive/folder source to update.

Unhappy !!!

I have no idea what you're talking about. Something more concrete with an example and detailed log would help.

CS, closing and opening the program (console I believe you are referring to) does nothing to the actual Serviio service. This is controlled in the Windows Services panel, not the Serviio console.

For the vast majority of users, the update function is working fine. As Zip said, you need to provide more specific information.

I have created the Log File after a reboot, and with no additions or movement within the Library, before the Boot!! So It is a clean log.
No Changes or movement to the library.

As your instructions are not that clear, I guess you want me to Move the Log file created to save it in another directory, and then let the program create a new one after moving some files around and maybe adding a New download to the Library directories!!

Then you can compare the 2 and see if any Auto-Update occurred!!
Correct????

However, the Log is almost 65MB of data and list every file in my Multiple Folders and Directories and Drives.
I am reluctant to post it Publicly!!!

Do you have a PRIVATE way to submit the Log files??

BTW... Serviio will not respond to my attempts to shut down the "Service"!!!
I just get an error message! Rebooting remains my only avenue to force an update...
and I'm not sure How I will be able to delete the Log file with the service constantly running!!! :?:

Thank you,
CS
