Upgrade opensuse 13.1 -> 13.2 and Serviio 1-4x -> 1.5x

I used serviio1.4.x (don't ask for exactly version number, but it was online for months) with opensuse 13.1 and it worked fine out of the box.
Now I did a new install with opensuse 13.2 and Serviio 1-5.2 and serviio finds nothing to connect with. If I press the refresh button for searching devices it doesn't seem to search at all. Starting from terminal reveals no error. I tried to open the two suggested firewall ports, but nothing changed.
I have no idea how to proceed.
Any ideas.?
