MediaBrowser Address

Is there a way to shorten the address for the mediabrowser? I plan on using it on a lan that will not have internet access 99% of the time.

Now it is http://serverIP:23424/mediabrowser. Is there a program or setting in a standard router that can be used to forward a different address to this? For example if I type in http://mediabrowser on my lan it will automatically forward to http://serverIP:23424/mediabrowser.

Also if am running a server with 2 x Ten-Core Intel Xeon Processor E5-2660 v2 2.20GHz 25MB Cache, how many simultaneous users do you thank that could support using various devices?

Thank you.

Just bookmark it in your browser and add it to the favorites bar and rename to "Mediabrowser"
