Networked drives have stopped working recently

When I updated to 1.5.2 from 1.4.1.2, my 2nd PC with networked drives on it just stopped working. When I try to access files from the 2nd PC, I get the "There is no playable file" message. I've added the port exceptions to Windows firewall suggested (although it worked fine before without that, but trying everything), the library path to the networked files is the proper UNC path with full computer name as it's always been, I've tried disabling my AV program, nothing I do will play the networked files anymore.
Accessing files on the networked drives worked last week before I updated Serviio, but I've tried everything I can think of and still can't get Serviio to play the files. This is on Windows 7 64-bit with a Sony BDP-S5100 and S5200 players, profile used for both players is Sony BDP-Sx70/SMP-N100(2010) as it's always been. For the heck of it I also installed 1.5.2 on the WinXP machine and tried adding files from the Windows 7 PC and it also gets the same message about no playable files. I've also tried deleting the path in the library and then re-adding it with no luck.
Any suggestions? In the meantime, I'm keeping Serviio set up on the 2nd PC and using it as a 2nd server to watch the files that way, but I shouldn't have to.

These issues are almost always permissions related. Remember that Serviio by default runs as a Windows Service, not the user name of the logged in person. That service almost never has permission to read from another computer share.
There are two basic ways to solve the problem. One is to relax the permissions on the shared location so that anything and anyone can read the files. I've had to play with multiple options to get that to work. The other is the change the name that Serviio runs as to the user login that has networked access. This is done on the Services app. Find Serviio in the list and open the settings. Click the Log On tab. It currently says Local System account. Select "This Account", and browse to the user name you want to use. Make sure you enter the correct password for that account and then click Apply. Go back to the General tab and Stop & Start the service.
Now see if Serviio sees the files on the network share. It will take a few minutes to populate the database, but you can see the files being added on the Serviio console.

Option 2 worked (everything between the 2 PCs already has relaxed sharing where I have full permissions between all PCs on the network). I never paid attention to what was listed on the Log On tab in Services for Serviio, but both PCs were set to Local System Account. Once I changed that to accounts named Local Service for Windows 7 and NT AUTHORITY\LocalService for WinXP, I can now share files back and forth like I used before the upgrade.
Either something changed after 1.4.1.2 where leaving it on Local System Account no longer worked, or installing the upgrade changed that tab to Local System Account. Since I really don't recall how it was set before, I can't say which. But everything worked fine for years until I did this most recent upgrade.
Thank you for the help with this, it was driving me nuts why it no longer worked after the upgrade.

I spoke too soon. I was waiting for the play list to fully propagate and it seemed stuck on just 2 of the subdirectories. Rebooted, deleted the shared path, re-added it, stopped and started server, checked that the Serviio service log on settings hadn't reverted back, and either I get very few files or the message of "There is no playable file" again.
Nothing has changed on my network at all to be causing it, everything has fully relaxed sharing, everything else works fine across the network back and forth between the PCs.
Any other suggestions I can try?
