On my Onkyo DLNA device DHCP is enabled and IP address is 192.168.0.7; sub mask 255.255.255.0; Gateway 192.168.0.1; DSN server 194.168.4.100.
Serviio Status tab shows at the bottom; Enable access for new devices and this is ticked. Next to it is Default access group and this is greyed out.
Next one Network settings has two options to select from the drop down menu; (1) automatically detected and (2) 192.168.0.5 (Atheros AR9285 wireless network adaptor) and this cannot be edited. So how do I "Change it to the proper setting, then click the Save button on the lower right corner" as you suggest?
Some more guidance please.
Regards
Yep, there's the problem.
Exit the Serviio console. To completely close it, right click the Serviio icon in the Notification Area (Windows) and select exit console (going by memory here). Now restart the console. This should update the Network Settings box to the currently active network adapter.
If it doesn't, exit the console again, then restart the Serviio service. Assuming you are running Windows, click the Start button and type Services. This will find the services app. Open it, find Serviio in the list, click it, then click restart on the list in the left window. When that finishes, reopen the Serviio console and the correct IP address should be listed.
If you are using something besides Windows, someone else will have to tell you how to restart the service. Rebooting will also accomplish this.
