Serviio 1.5.2 - OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta

I installed Serviio 1.5.2 on my iMac running the beta of El Capitan. Set up ran perfectly, appeared to work fine. But it didn't start the server on restarts.

When I attempted to load the console to start it, the error “Cannot connect to Serviio server, it does not seem to be running. Exiting…” was received. When I attempted to use the command in Terminal to start the server, the error received was “/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.serviio.server.plist: service already loaded”. On each reboot I had to use the "Stop Server" terminal command, then follow up with the command to start the server in order for it to be active and able to launch the console. Reinstallation had no effect.

What eventually seemed to help is disabling the new OS X security feature of "System Integrity Protection", then restarting. So far it appears to be working after several reboots.

So if anyone runs into this problem when they update to the full production version of El Capitan, this may be a possible fix for them.

I upgraded to El Capitan and found that Serviio was failing to start on reboot.

What fixed. In terminal, manually stop and then restart Serviio. Now on reboot, Serviio starts as normal.

Stop:
sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.serviio.server.plist

Start:
sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.serviio.server.plist

I have the same problem since I upgraded to El Capitan.
But no one of the suggestions provided above worked for me.
Anything new ?

I am not using the beta, but the 10.11.2 full release. I am not having the exact same problem but ever since updating to 10.11 I get absolutely no metadata. None. I have to view everything via the folders, or recently added. Extremely annoying.
