Adding subtitle to video does not trigger library update

I've searched before posting, but did not find anyone with this problem (!) so here it goes.
I'm using Serviio 1.5.2 on a PC to serve DLNA to a LG TV LA660.

Everything works fine, in what concerns video and subtitles, when both are present on a folder.

The scenario occurs when the DLNA server is up and running.

- When I add a video to a Shared folder that is part of the library, the folder (box keep-library-automatically-updated is checked) is refreshed on the DLNA client, so the video shows up immediately and I can play it on the client.

But

- If I add the subtitle later (e.g. because it was faulty or there was no subtitle on that folder) for that video, the client does not get the video with the new subtitle, the server keeps serving the video -without- subtitles.

The only (cumbersome) way I find to force it, is to rename of the video name (and subtitle also, because it must be the same), and then the library is updated and the client can then play the video with subtitles.

IMHO, .SRT (or other) subtitle files should be added to the list of video files that cause a library to be refreshed.

Thanx and Keep the Excellent Work on the Best DLNA server EVER.

I assume it's an external srt file. I think it's probably caused by Serviio caching the browsing responses. The cache gets cleared (for example) when there is a change to any indexed file. As a workaround you could try to make a change on the Presentation tab and save it - it should clear the cache too.
