Xbox One Preview Program issues

My Xbox One in the Preview Program recently updated to Microsoft's new dashboard experience (the Windows 10-based version)

Ever since this "upgrade" I have been having issues with Serviio and the "Media Player" app on the Xbox One.

The Media Player app will not allow me into certain locations when browsing videos. Specifically, the "Movies" category does not work (error: No files found) and when I navigate by folder it gives me a different error (error: No access to this location). I am however able to access "Last Added" and "Series" without any issues.

I have compared this to the MediaBrowser on my computer, and my computer is able to access all locations through the web interface with no issues.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or does anyone have a fix for this? I'm not really sure what is causing this, but it all seems to have revolved around the system update.

I see that too. I hope it's a bug in the Xbox media player, will look into fixing it if its the same after it goes live to everyone.

I've been noticing the same issues. There was another preview dashboard update yesterday (4 Nov), though, and when it was done updating, I did a quick check, and the "no files found" categories are now showing items!

Also, for some reason, MKV files ripped from Blu-ray discs weren't showing up before (even when browsing "Folders", the most consistent way it was working), and they are now.

So, it appears to be an Xbox problem that is getting better.
