MKV File decoding
Hi,
I am using Matroska (MKV) files for most of my video content. Before activating them for Serviio I review them with VLC media player. Recently I found a file that played very differently when using Serviio from the display with VLC. Checking the container data, it has a menu section like:
Menu
00:00:00.000 : en:Prologue / en:Opening / :Ending
00:01:32.968 : en:Episode
In VLC, this will play 1:32.968 minutes of the current file as a prologue, then a file named "Opening", it then finishes the current file, and then plays a file named "Ending". All files must be in the same folder. Different episodes in the series would have different length prologues and some did not have a prologue.
In Serviio, it plays the current file and ignores the Menu structure.
So the question is:
Does Serviio process the menu control for MKV files?
If yes, how do I configure Serviio to play these?
If not, is this a feature that is planned in a future update?
Thanks,
JJ
