Subtitles not shown after some time +local drives don't show

Hello,

I have been using Serviio for a while and everything was fine until today.
Today I have noticed that after a certain time the subtitles are not shown anymore. Yesterday was fine. No software update I have done to either TV or Serviio. (v 1.7)
Do you know what could be the cause for this?

Also Serviio console does not see all my drives. I have A C D E F G and the console sees when browsing A C E F G. Not that big issue since I do not browse, just copy paste the location.
It has been like this since forever.

The more annoying issue is the first one..with the subtitle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

LE: If move to <~40 minutes subtitles are back. Somewhere around 39 one gets half missing words and from then on, no more subtitle.
My TV is LG 55UH8507

While keep looking for solutions I have removed 1.7 installed it again, turned TV/PC ON/OFF etc. Nothing worked.

I found an old installer and installed 1.6.1....and the issue has been fixed.

So on 1.6.1 works fine...put 1.7..subtitles are gone after 40mins again.

It's been reported (40 mins subs) and will be fixed in 1.7.1

Same here. It does not happen if the subtitles are inside the container (MKV), just with external (SRT) subtitles. It's not a '40 minutes' issue though. It happens the last minutes of any video. I tried with files of varied durations (from 20 minutes to two hours) and the subtitles 'disappears' near the end, always. Just a coincidence that most TV shows are 40-something minutes long. For now, back to version 1.6.1 until the issue is fixed.

Hi All,
I've got the same problem. I turned back from Linux version 1.7 to 1.6.1. I think as well, there's a problem with automatically guessed. It does not recognize CP1251. Furthermore, you cannot imply it manually.

Hey guys,

I have this issue as well.

It doesn't seem to be time related, but character related,
More precisely, related to the number of characters shown.

I don't know how it is build / how it works,
But I think it is more of a buffer that being overflowed or something.

I just watched the latest 'Captain America' movie, and noticed that after 2 hours and 8 minutes the subtitles stopped, always at the same place.
At first I thought it is a subtitle problem, so I start digging up in the srt file.
I've then discovered that if I remove subtitles prior to that point, no matter when, the same amount of characters I remove, appear after the place it had stopped before.

I'm not using transoding btw.

Cheers.
