PS4 not showing in connected devices

I have Serviio 1.7.1 running on my iMac and seems to have no errors apart from the fact that my PS4 is not showing in the Connected Device list. My sons Xbox One and my Sonos speakers are showing but not the PS4, I have connected the PS4 via LAN and WiFi and still no luck.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated especially as I only have 7 days left of my evaluation period left.

Thanks.

You have to manually assign the PS4 Profile to the IP address of your device. Its a problem with how the PS4 describes itself to DLNA servers.
To do this:
  • Go to Serviio Console, Status tab.
  • Find the IP address of your PS4 in the list (if you're not sure which address this is, it can be found under the network settings on your PS4)
  • Press the Edit button, and select Edit
  • Select the PS4 profile from the list that appears when you click in the "Profile" text box
  • Press OK
  • Press Save
This should be all you need to do. Serviio will remember the profile for this IP address - so it would also pay to make sure the IP address for the PS4 doesn't change (set it as a reserved address in your router).
