I'm running Serviio 1.8 on an Ubuntu server (version 16.04.2) for the last week or so the libraries are being updated automatically in shared folders. I have to use the Force refresh button on the library page to update the library. Is there anywhere I can look to see why this isn't happening.

Open the console, and select your shared folder and click edit. You will see a checkbox labeled "Use the poller mechanism for monitoring this folder". Check the box and Ok on this page, and the Save when you return to the shared folder page. This seems to work better with -nix boxes. ,

It seems to be some sort of permission issue, as once I change the file permissions to 755 they get updated, which is still kind of strange as I have a backup server that does update with with file permissions of 644.
