Serviio 1.9 on Ubuntu 16.04 Server And Windows Shares

Hi guys - I have recently installed Serviio 1.9 on Ubuntu 16.04 Server and everything is working as expected. However, when I attempt to add a Windows 2012 R2 share from the web console I get the following in the log

  Code:
Repository '/\\192.168.50.182\test' is not currently available

The Windows 2012 R2 VM is joined to a domain - however I have created a local user account, matching the linux user used to run the serviio service on Ubuntu (with the same password) and added it to the ACL on the NTFS tab.

Is this actually possible? Or Will I need to install the serviio console on a Windows machine to initially setup the library or alternatively join the Ubuntu server to the AD domain and simply run the serviio service using a winbind user?

Many thanks

I resolved this issue by creating a persistent mount point with an smbcredentials file with the relevant domain user authentication.
