New to Serviio, tried my best to search forums.

Is there some utility that can validate what sections of profiles.xlm would apply to a given media file when transcoding?

Even after reading the available info (profiles, transcoding), I still find it somewhat overwhelming to figure out what the transcoding end result would be for a media file. I was hoping to have some indication looking into the Transcoded file location, but I find it is always empty while transcoding.

In the current profiles.xlm, there's is no mention of H.265 (HEVEC), so how does Serviio handle such media files when transcoding is On?

there should be notions of h265 in profiles.xml

there is no such thing at the moment. I could potentially extend the logging
