Hello

Is there any way to name local drives so instead of them showing up on my TV as H:, J: etc they can be named. Using emby I could title them so they showed up like FILMS or TV SERIES but cant find an option in Serviio to do this.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. Will it be something you may add at a later date.

When I browse folders via Serviio, I see the name of the folder. Are you linking to a folder, or the root of the drive? If the root, have you named the drive? I don't know if that would work, as I link to folders. But I could test it if you'd like.

EDIT: I tried a drive root, and indeed it just showed the drive letter, not the drive name. My suggestion to you is to create a single folder in the root of the drive, and name it the name you want. Then move all of your videos into that folder, and finally change your shared file location in the Serviio console to the new folder instead of the root of the drive. Now you will see a name instead of the drive letter. Moving files on the same drive should be almost instant, as it's only changing the pointers in the internal drive table, not actually moving the files themselves.
