No Resume on Samsung QLED TV

No Resume on Samsung QLED TV

My 7 year old Samsung had a great player which would resume play where you left off. The new player has a greatly simplified player with no resume. I use Serviio to access files from an external drive on my Mac desktop. Would setting up a Plex app on the TV and on my Mac give me another player that will resume? What would be the easiest way to access a more robust player that allows resume?

are you using a Samsung profile?

Hi, I'm having this problem on my new 65" Samsung Q7 TV as well. Worked fine on the old one, would pick up where it left off.

Looking through other threads, it seems this is meant to be okay with Samsungs - wondering if it's a TV or serviio issue?

To answer the above query, we are logged in to my wifes Samsung account - does this affect it somehow?

Will keep snooping around and post if i find a solution.

Make sure you select a Samsung profile in the Serviio console for the TV.
