There is no Hisense Profile.

Try the Generic Profile and let the forum know what files don't play properly (MediaInfo detail). We can assist build one.

bringing an update on this... no problems detected with the Generic Profile playing movies.

Just wandering why I'cant see a picture beside the movie title on the TV screen. Previous TV was a samsung and had that functionality.
Is this dependant on the TV software or Serviio profile?
I didn't try other DLNA software.. I love serviio :)

Thanks!

That's dependant on the TV. Long shot but look for options on the TV - my Panasonic has the option to turn previews on or off.

no such an option on this TV :(. I've sent an email to the manufacturers and will comment back for future reference.

I've an issue to report with mkv's... Once stopped (not paused) the movie, it is not possible to resume at the same point that was left.

I'm attaching a mediainfo details for the mkv. The issue is not only for the movie in question but for all mkvs I have (about 100).

I can also upload a log file in debug mode if needed. Just let me know :)

Resume playback only works with some players, and the file must not require transcoding. The only transcoded files that resume might work is when using the HLS (applehttp) protocol, which I doubt your TV would support. Even if you're only transcoding the audio, that is enough that resume won't work.

But, if you've been using the Generic profile, that does no transcoding. If resume isn't available, then your TV doesn't support it unfortunately.

Oh, it's the TV then :(
DLNA is so underestimated by most manufacturers.

Thanks for your responses with full explanations included :)
