Image Display in Media Browser

I like to use Media Browser to search for images because it's very fast.
However, what I don't like is the way the images are displayed:
The image in the example above has the same size (1920 x 1080) as my monitor, but even in fullscreen there's a big border around it.
Can I change this behavior? At least in fullscreen I would like my monitor to be fully used. For images greater than my monitor, scaled down to monitor size, for all other sizes original size, that would be optimal.
