Plain Folder Icons Without Thumbnails
Posted: Mon Dec 17, 2018 8:10 pmI've read dozens of posts on the forum as I try to find a way to display folders (in folder view) as icons instead of thumbnails. It seems that more people want the opposite; but to me, it makes no sense (and is irritating) that I can't differentiate a folder from a file in my player.
I want the videos to show up with their serviio-generated thumbnails, but I want the folders to display the folder icons built into the video player (Roku, Hopper, PS3, 8Player Pro, etc.). I've read here that some players (clients) won't show the thumbnail on folders, but my favorites (e.g., Roku, 8Player Pro on iPad) do.
So, I'll ask the question directly: Can I configure Serviio to NOT serve icons for folders?
