Metadata location on Linux, and can the metadata be moved?

Where does Serviio store its metadata on Linux? I've installed Serviio on a Raspberry Pi B+ running Raspbian Stretch, with the library on a external 2Tb drive. Everything seems to be working fine, but if possible, I'd like to move the metadata to the external drive as well, rather than having it stored on the microSD card that the pi boots from.

Re: Metadata location on Linux, and can the metadata be move

The metadata is stored in the database, along with everything else about your library. I'm uncertain if you can move just the database, and leave the Serviio install where it is. It might be easier to just install Serviio to the external drive rather than the SD card.

I did just check the Serviio properties settings that are available, and there is a way to point to a specific database location: https://www.serviio.org/index.php?optio ... icle&id=43

derby.system.home - path to the library database root folder (by default it's ${serviio.home}/library)

So it is possible to place just the database folder in a different location. Remember that you would have to move everything that's in the current library folder to the new location.
