hello

i'm using serviio 1.10.1 (windows)
after transfer of the mp3s from desktop via upnp/dlna to iPad,
all audio-files have the metadata "discnumber = 1".
on double-cds no correct sorting is possible.
Image

please correct it.

thanks

hello

What's the matter?
is nobody responsible for this audio problem ?
no reaction for some months ...

this is an essential error. during the transfer metadata "discnumber" must also be read !!
otherwise all tracks (for multiple cds) are displayed under discnumber=1. this results in a wrong order of songs !!

please correct - thank you

Serviio already sorts by disc number. I assume the software you're using to browse Serviio ignores it and sorts alphabetically by the numbers. If you have Pro, you can confirm if the order is correct in MediaBrowser.

I agree. If a control point browses and adds a container all (audio) items within the (sub) container are sorted by disc number and then by track number. This actually works. However it would be really nice, if _all_ available item-metadata were added to the DIDL-lite element. Besides disc-number several important attributes are missing (title, album, artist, ...).
