what is the way to install serviio in linux mint

Download the package and install to the desired location. Install FFMPEG via your normal app retrieval process, usually APT. I tried it once on a Mint test box I built and it worked easily. You might encounter issues getting it to start correctly if your installed version of Java isn't correct. I believe Serviio has been updated for the latest Java version for Linux, so that might not be an issue. I had to install version 8, and then run a command line switch to make version 8 the default. After that it worked fine. Like I said, that may be been resolved by now. I tested it months ago with an older version of Serviio.
