versions:
serviio 1.10.1
fisrt and only successful start with > java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.201.b09-2
then I uninstalled it and replace it with > java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.211-2.6.17.1
and last > java-11-openjdk-11.0.2.7-0
ffmpeg.x86_64 2.8.15-1.el7.nux @nux-dextop
ffmpeg-libs.x86_64 2.8.15-1.el7.nux @nux-dextop

now I'm stuck with "Port is already taken. Notifying first instance" every attempt to start logs that message.

I tried:
- reboot > no change
- ps fax do not show any java or so process running

Re: serviion centos 7 install

I think java 11 is too new? Doesn't Serviio need 8 or 9?

Yes probably but it was my last desperate attempt. I had no luck with 7 and 8 .

Re: serviion centos 7 install

Is should work with at least Java 8. Java 11 should also work, but 8 is the best version atm.

The port taken message means the process is already running.
