How do I get secure remote access

Hello

My library is remotely accessible, but it lacks a valid certificate somehow. Therefore it seems not safe for me. How can I fix that? Error as follows: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

Greetings

Edit: Of there are safer ways to gain remote access like via VPN, I would be interested too. Serviio is runnning on Windows Home Server 2016.

You'd need to run a proxy server, with the certificate of your domain (that's why Serviio doesn't ship with a certificate, it doesn't know your domain).

Try searching for IIS or Apache proxy on the forum.

Or, just live with the certificate error. It's still a secure connection, just unverified with an official SSL certificate. Since it's your server, you know it's authentic.

Haha, reminds me of a Joe Rogan bit where he says women are impressed with penguins for having monogamous relationships for life.

And Joe says how can you even tell they all look exactly the same. You see them walking around all clumsy sometimes in a circle, "Who are you, who am I, am I me or you, are you you?

Okay, starting to ignore the error. Other problem: Streaming is not properly working on mobile devices via remote access. Tried several browsers. Android worked just one time, but now doesn't load the video stream and on iOS the control overlay is not shown. Any idea how to get it running?
