I have forwarded the following in my router: 8895,23423,23424,23524

I am able to reach the console at http://internal-ip-address:23423/console and at http://my-no-ip-ddns:23423/console

If I try to reach the console via the secure port at https://my-no-ip-ddns:23524/console I get the certificate notice, but then "Not Found, The server has not found anything matching the request URI"
On this port, I am able to reach the MediaBrowser at https://my-no-ip-ddns:23524/mediabrowser


Is this the correct way of working? where the "Remote > Internet access" is strictly related to the Media Browser? and not for the console? Is 23423 the only way to reach the console?

My end goal would be to have both (mediabrowser and console) on HTTPS.

I've also tried to use Nginx to redirect, from a guide known from a while back, https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/guide-trans ... roxy/22549
(example: to redirect 23423 to 9443)
But in this scenario, I do not get the buttons from the left sidebar/menu.

Configuration: Serviio 2.0 on Raspbian (PI3)

23524 is the port for secure access to only MediaBrowser. The link you posted shows trying to reach the console. You must use port 23523 for secure access to the console.

Hi everyone ... I'm new to the forum and I hope I don't make mistakes in answering here ... in case I ask you already sorry in advance ... anyway here's my problem.

I'm trying to set Serviio 1.10.1 to access my files remotely, without being connected to the same wifi network. I tried many methods and online guides but I never came out a winner. I am losing myself between DNS servers, static and dynamic IP addresses ... and honestly I begin to understand nothing more. I forgot to tell you that (obviously) I have the PRO version of Serviio.

Are you attempting to use MediaBrowser from outside your network, or are you trying to use a player such as a TV or Blu Ray player that is connected to a different network? DLNA does not work across the Internet, so nothing outside your network can reach your Serviio server.

For MediaBrowser, you need two things: your Internet router needs to have port forwarding configured to forward an external connection to your internal Serviio computer on port 23424 (23524 to use SSL security). The other thing is a way to know what your external IP address is. Since most home users don't have static IP addresses and their IP address changes often, you need a way to find out what it currently is. This is where Dynamic DNS comes in. There are many companies that offer free DDNS services. They provide you with a domain name (name.ddns.net, or whatever they use) and you run an application on a computer inside your network that checks your external address and publishes it to the Internet DNS servers when it changes. What am I trying to do? Yes ... you caught it in full. I'm trying to read with my tablet (4g connection) the network of Serviio that is created in my house via wifi. The TV is a Sony Bravia and the player is a Sony Ps3.
I have already activated the services (more or less) free of which you speak for the DNS servers and I have also tried to set the port-forwarding in my router ... it seems that what I do does not please Serviio that in the "Remote" pages always two errors in the attempt to connect via port 23424.
Later I try to include screenshots in my post so I can better understand my situation. I still hope for your help to resolve.

Goodmorning everyone. Thank you from now ... I am trying to explain myself better! As you may have already understood, my intent is to access Serviio from outside my home ... connected to my wifi network I have no problem ... I want to be able to connect to the same network via my tablet connected with 4g when I'm out for work.
I begin with some images:

That looks OK. Just to avoid the dyndns bit, does the check work if you remove the dyndns address from the serviio console field, save and then run the check again?
